For as long as I can remember, drawing has been my passion... my escape... the record of my life. From summers in the North Carolina mountains to those on my Great Grandmother's South Carolina farm, my world has been steeped in nostalgia and history.

Commissioned for a large theater mural, and scholarship offers from a six week private exhibition, my path seemed obvious at seventeen.  Yet, knowing that life is where the best inspirations for my artwork would come, I chose a different path.  Motherhood, nursing, and emergency medicine... with art as my constant expression.
